So, my iteniary for the weekend:
Fri 2/20 Phoenix - Albuquerque (fly)
Sat 2/21 Albuquerque - Flagstaff (drive)
Sun 2/22 Flagstaff - Phoenix (drive)
The trip started off shaky, as I found out Friday morning that my flight to ABQ was cancelled! So, i scrambled to find a flight i could jump on to get there in time! So i arranged to sneak out of work a little earlier and catch the 3:49 flight. We didn't know we'd make it on there until we actually set foot on the plane! Yeah! Ok, so then I started worrying about Christaloo who also was supposed to take the later flight. As it turns out they put her on another airline through Tucson to get to Albuquerque. Unfortunately, while Christa continued on to ABQ, her luggage did not. :( It finally showed up at 11:30 at the hotel...
Anyhow, we all got to our hotels and got situated. Oddly enough, our hotel was just North of the “Oink of Albuquerque.” It made it easy to find our hotel again! The ABQ show was great fun with all my Troublemaker friends. Roger's voice didn't quite hold out very well... and sounded very rough at spots.
Then it was on to Flagstaff. We got a much later start than any of us anticipated, and I only got to shoot one roll of film along the way, but it was a very nice drive, with some most excellent company... (Thanks, Erica!). Roger sounded much better at this show. I arrived during the opening band, and immediately spotted some friends up at the front with a spot that looked just the right size for me! (Thanks Gina, Amy & Patty!)
During the show, it had snowed, and there was a small amount of accumulation on the car... which of course immediately turned into an impromptu snowball fight... :P Fun stuff! I woke up to it snowing. It snowed pretty much non-stop all morning, and almost all the way back to Camp Verde. It was a beautiful drive today.
Anyhow, now its back to reality. Work, School, Laundry & Cleaning... fun stuff!
